Karla is a paralegal with 17 years of experience in the legal field. She joined Mani Ellis & Layne, PLLC in March 2017. She worked at The Sutter Law Firm in Charleston, WV from 2000-2017 as a paralegal and bookkeeper. She is an important part of the legal team, assisting attorneys in civil litigation. Her job responsibilities include interviewing potential clients, case management, correspondence with clients, drafting and filing legal documents, negotiating subrogation liens and preparing for mediation and trial.
Karla graduated from St. Albans High School in 1997, and attended Fairmont State University, where she studied accounting and math. Karla resides in St. Albans with her husband and two children. She enjoys volunteering at her children’s school, attending sporting events, camping, bowling, and spending time with her family.
